Ask yourself this did you just "Check The Box" today or were you relentless in your preparation?
We are one week out from spring training and spring sports I wanted to push out a few reminders and provide some updates.
Important update to the schedule next week.
Morning Weights Monday through Thursday 6:45-7:45am
No QB/ WR Clinic next week.
Helmet fitting date has moved!
April 1st (Wednesday) 1:35pm - All track athletes (middle school and high school will do fittings first. Fittings will be done through Armorzone. Our Flyer will be out soon…
Senior Leadership and Squad drafts Monday - Wednesday next week.
As we move into the second stage of success the focus becomes:
To develop Strength and Agility in multisport athletes. Begin Phase 1 Offense / Defense install.
Spring Morning weights attendance contributes towards athletes Lion Pride Points and overall squad points.
Attendance to morning weights contributes to goals bigger than the football program. This allows athletes to lift early in the morning and recover in time for afternoon spring sports! In addition this saves time for spring sports to excel at the fundamentals!
Quarterback clinics during the closed period have been removed from the offseason schedule. Coach Farrell apologizes for the miscommunication here and he has gathered clarity on the new OSAA rulings.
As a reminder please check the website schedule for the latest updates on schedule changes. https://www.cglionsfootball.com/
